Privacy Policy
The data controller is DATALIT LLC (the "Operator"). This Policy explains what data the Goutub service (goutub.com) collects, why, where it is stored and what rights you have.
1. Legal framework
- Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" (ZRU-547 of 2 July 2019), as amended.
- Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Informatisation" and "On Electronic Commerce".
- YouTube API Services Terms and the Google Privacy Policy — for data obtained through the YouTube API.
2. Data we process
- Account: login, email address, password (hashed), display name, interface language, time zone, registration date, IP address and browser data at sign-in.
- Payments: plan, amounts, dates and statuses of payments, payment-system transaction IDs. The Operator never receives or stores card details — they are handled by the payment provider.
- Content: topics, scripts, uploaded files, voice samples (if you enable your own voice), finished videos and thumbnails.
- YouTube: when a channel is connected — channel ID and title, OAuth access tokens, channel and video statistics obtained through YouTube API Services.
- Support: correspondence with support and the contents of requests.
- Technical data: session cookies, request logs, anonymised visit analytics.
3. Purposes
- Providing the Service: registration, sign-in, video creation, publishing to your channel on your instruction.
- Billing: subscriptions and payments, receipts, refunds.
- Support: answering requests, notifications about task and subscription status.
- Security: protection against fraud, unauthorised access and abuse.
- Improving the Service: anonymised usage statistics.
4. Legal basis
Your consent given at registration; performance of the contract (Terms of Service); the Operator's legitimate interest in security and operation of the Service; accounting-law requirements regarding payment records.
5. Where data is stored and cross-border transfer
Data is processed on the Operator's dedicated servers hosted in a data centre in the Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek). Under Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-1125 of 26 March 2026, mandatory storage within Uzbekistan applies only to biometric and genetic data and to data of subscribers of telecom operators; the Operator processes no such data. Other personal data may be stored and processed abroad subject to the conditions of Article 15 of the Law "On Personal Data". The personal data transferred abroad is minimal: login, e-mail address, password hash and technical session data; bank card data never leaves the bank's payment gateway in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The transfer is carried out under conditions ensuring a level of protection not lower than that required by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan: encryption in transit (TLS) and of stored secrets, restricted and logged access, encrypted backups, contractual obligations of the hosting provider; the Operator applies standard contractual data-protection clauses and notifies the authorised body of incidents within the statutory deadlines. By registering you consent to such cross-border transfer. The Operator does not collect biometric data; voice samples are used only for speech synthesis on your instruction and are not used to identify a person.
6. Sharing with third parties
- Payment provider — to accept payment; receives the amount, order ID and data needed for the transaction.
- AI model vendors (text, speech and image generation) — receive the task content (topic, text, voice sample) without account data.
- Google / YouTube — when publishing videos and reading statistics through YouTube API Services.
- Email provider — to send Service emails.
- Public authorities — only upon a lawful request.
The Operator does not sell personal data and does not share it for third-party advertising.
7. Google and YouTube data (YouTube API Services)
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you accept the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access tokens are stored encrypted and used only to upload videos to your channel and read its statistics. YouTube API data is retained for no longer than 30 days or until the channel is disconnected; you can revoke access in your Google account settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Retention
- Account data — while the account exists and for 30 days after deletion (backups).
- Finished videos and working files — for the retention period of your plan (normally 7 days after rendering), then deleted automatically.
- Payment records — for the period required by accounting legislation.
- Request logs — up to 90 days.
9. Cookies and analytics
The Service uses a session cookie (sign-in), an interface-language cookie and anonymised visit analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; without the session cookie signing in is not possible.
10. Your rights
- Obtain information about the data processed and a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate data in your account settings.
- Delete your account and data (the "Delete account" button in your profile or a request to support).
- Withdraw consent to processing, including consent to cross-border transfer; withdrawal ends the use of the Service.
- Lodge a complaint with the personal data protection authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Requests are accepted at support@goutub.com from the email address registered on your account; we respond within 10 business days.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for persons under 18. If we learn that an account was created by a child without a legal representative's consent, the data will be deleted.
12. Security
Encrypted connections (TLS), password hashing, optional two-factor authentication, restricted staff access, backups and access logging.
13. Changes to this Policy
The current version is always available at goutub.com/legal/privacy with its date. We notify you of material changes by email.
